Montreal / Saint Sauver

During reading week in Feburary we went to Montreal for 2 days the Saint Sauver for 3 days, a ski resort near Mont Tremblant

Notre Dame

They love their stuffed animals in Quebec! Most peoples scarfs have a head attached to them like this hat below... creepy!

Canadians and their Maple Syrup... making a mapel taffy, basically frozen maple syrup on a stick, after this a maple coffee and a maple buttered biscuit we both had a huge sugar rush!

Exploring the streets of Montreal

Then off to Saint Sauver

Decided to try snow boarding this time... Phil was awesome I sucked opposite to skiing!! We ached so much the next day we went to Polar Bears Club Spa.
It was set up along a river, most of it was out doors, there was lots of different hot tubs, saunas, whirlpools and a plunge pool with was a hole cut in the frozen river.

Yup we sure did! We jumped in it.. for all of 3 seconds, it was -20 and after jumping in the river, we were walking around like it was 30 degrees outside!

Phil rocking the spa look

Next day we went tubbing... basically throwing yourself down a hill on a rubber dingy... so much fun, although a lot of work to get to the top of the hill for 10 seconds of thrill.
